Wedding planners in New York

A small collective of New York planners, each with a distinct point of view, introduced as people rather than listings.

A wedding planned by the Wedded collective, New York

Manhattan · Brooklyn · across New York State

New York weddings carry the city with them: a ceremony above the skyline in Brooklyn, a townhouse dinner, a glasshouse lit for two hundred guests. The planners in Wedded's New York collective have built their work here, across Manhattan, Brooklyn and the venues couples travel in for.

Each one is meaningfully different, which is the point. Tell us the wedding you're imagining and we'll introduce you to the planner whose taste and way of working fit it, and you meet before anything is signed.

Questions couples ask about New York

How much does a wedding planner cost in New York?

It depends on the scope. Month-of coordination costs considerably less than full planning and design, and most full-service planners price on a flat fee or a share of the overall budget. Every planner in the collective quotes personally after a first conversation about your wedding, so you know the investment before anything is signed.

Which parts of New York do Wedded planners cover?

Manhattan, Brooklyn and venues across New York State, and all of them travel. If your wedding is in the Hudson Valley, on Long Island or out of state entirely, say so when you inquire and we'll match accordingly.

Do I get to meet the planner before I commit?

Yes. That is the whole idea behind Wedded. Once we've read your answers we introduce you to the planner we think fits, you meet, and only then do you decide whether to work together.

What is the difference between full service, partial planning and month-of coordination?

Full service means the planner leads everything from design and venue to the last vendor on the day. Partial planning picks up a wedding you've already started, filling the gaps. Month-of coordination takes over the final stretch: timeline, vendors and running the day itself, so you don't have to.

How far ahead should I book a New York wedding planner?

For a peak-season Saturday, twelve to eighteen months is comfortable. The New York collective is currently taking weddings for 2026, 2027 and 2028.
